90 Beats Per Minute

Today's photos are courtesy of Mike. As usual he came through for me when I needed him, and he blew me away with these photos. I knew I kept him around for a reason. Of course, the day was not without it's problems, as the car's radiator (the "Merc" as we call it, it's a 1960 Mercury Cruiser) decided to take a dive today, so Mike had to fill it with water in order to get it to run so we could take photos with it. And he almost ran out of gas on the way too. But luckily we managed to get these shots in before the sun went down. He did such an amazing job that I had an extremely hard time choosing between them. I've included the rest in a slideshow, in case you guys wanted to see the rest. I'm entering these in Hypeed.com's "Valentine's Day" contest, so wish me luck. I seem to be including lots of vehicles in my posts lately- they make great props. I had the car specifically in mind when planning this post, and I have to say it came out just like I had hoped....thanks honey :) Have a great weekend everyone!

    OMG! First off, LOVE the dress, and the jacket makes it look so edgy,, I LOVE the last picture, and the car is amazing! Its so cute, and RED! I love cars all vintagy and stuff ( I don't know much about cars) but its AMAZING!! <3

    Illd probably cry if something goes wrong with your camera.

    Old cars DO make the best props! I have a 1964 Dodge Dart that currently lives in semi-retirement in my parents' garage...I'm thinking after looking at these awesome shots I may need to take her out for a spin and some photos one of these weekends!!

    And seriously, these turned out so beautifully. You have a very talented photographer ;)

    Your dress looks lovely and it looks good on you! My girlfriend loves wearing that kind of dresses, too! She would often go to vintage stores and buy cute clothes. She would also buy Dickies coats and jackets from online shopping stores.

    Omg, these pictures are so awesome! You've got a great boyfriend for him to go through all that trouble and STILL take some great shots of you.

    And you're gorgeous. I love how all the shots came out as well as the idea behind it. Chillin like a villain in a 60s themed car, glorifying it up with a pretty red rose. Me gustaaaa!
